Three-day B2B Weekend

August 7, 2008

Time for another Back2Back Weekend, featuring double shots of your favorite classic rock artists, but this time we’re declaring it a three-day weekend, and we’re starting Thursday night.  The B2B Weekend has been our most popular weekend feature, so let’s start the weekend early.  Here we go!

DJ’s Choice today, Playin’ Favorites again Monday

July 20, 2008

Today we’re using a special playlist, with only my favorite songs.  This is the first time in many months that we have developed a playlist that’s not based on listener track ratings.  I’ll be listening most of the day and just thought it would be interesting to try one day with SCR programmed like I would program my IPod (if I had one, that is).  I hope you like my songs.  I call the playlist “DJ’s Choice.”  Later today I’ll work up the coming week’s playlist, and we’ll get back to your favorites.  In the meantime, here’s hoping you also enjoy my favorites.

Music Library Weekend

July 18, 2008

We’re opening up the Music Library this weekend.  Our 60-hour playlist has no repeats, and there are many tracks that haven’t been heard on SCR in weeks or even months.  We want to make sure you know just how much variety we have for you, to give you a chance to tell us if you like a track or if you don’t.  Please use the thumbs up or down ratings liberally this weekend, so that next week’s playlist contains more of the music you want to hear.

Another Back 2 Back Weekend!

July 11, 2008

Twin spins of your top-rated artists all weekend long!  You’ve shown us this is your favorite weekend feature on SCR, so here we go again.  The B2B weekend is on the air!  Enjoy.

Playin’ Favorites full time!

June 17, 2008

The playlist this week is composed of your top-rated tracks, weighted for the highest track ratings with more plays more often for your favorite classic rock hits and deep cuts.

Thanks, listeners…SCR had its biggest back-to-back listening stats on Monday and Tuesday this week.  We want to be your favorite station!
