Thanks for listening!

There are five Nugent tracks in the SCR library. Unfortunately only two are in the current playlist. The others will be cycling through in coming weeks. Cat Scratch Fever and Journey to the Center of the Mind are favorites in the listener ratings. I'll make it a point to include Stranglehold and Hey Baby in the next playlist. This weekend we'll probably do a Back to Back playlist with at least four Nugent songs, so tune in when you can.

Angel? Only Angel I know of is the Aerosmith song by that name that we play occasionally. E-mail me at flarrfan@gmail.com with some details on Angel and we'll see what we can do.

Just started listening and love everything you have played so far. Do you play any Nugent (Stranglehold or Hey Baby)?

The 70s and 80s were the time of some of the best music ever put out.

Keep up the good work.

P.S.

any Angel?

Thanks for letting us know you're enjoying the station, Joe. We now have a 40-hour playlist with more than 700 tracks in the rotation, with only a few dozen songs repeating, based on consistent favorable "thumbs up" ratings. If you like a track, let us know with your rating. Every day we try to make time to check the latest ratings, and songs that consistently get rated well get played more often, while songs that get down-rated are moved out of the rotation for a least a few days. That way, we try to make sure the music you hear on Sunshine Classic Rock is what you want to hear.

Lots of LRB in the playlist, Joe...my personal favorite is one called "The Long Goodbye", which I'd never heard before, starts out down-tempo, like "Lady" but ends up rocking out like no other LRB song.

We have two Quicksilver songs in the playlist, the better known "Fresh Air" and "What About Me", but I will look for "Dino's Song" this weekend.

Thanks for listening and suggesting!

I haven't heard "Lady" by LRB in almost 30 years. Thank you!

Next time you're adding songs, how about "Dino's Song" by Quicksilver Messenger Service?

Thanks for doing such a great job.

Listening to your new Sunshine Rock, sounds ok to me,but surprised by the buffering remarks from someone on a 10mb connection,im on a 20mb connection so of course no complaints here, still unsure weather to take the plunge myself

Well, we haven't heard from any dial-up users, and we've had more listeners the past few days at 128k than we had for the last few weeks at the lower rate. And I am sure enjoying the better sound quality on my own system! If anyone is having a problem with the higher speed stream, please let us know.
